Default Re: Canadian War Graves in Northern Ireland

As a mark of respect, I have placed Royal British Legion crosses the markers of those Canadians who are buried in my home town.

They are:-

Flying Officer F.D. Butland
Flight Sergeant W.B. Fry
Flying Officer S.D. Gaudin
Pilot Officer R.H. Matthews
Pilot Officer K.A. Norris
W.O II A.L. Card
Flight Sergeant P.E.R. Baillargeon
Flight Sergeant J.A. Deschamps

As time passes, I will attempt to leave crosses at other locations if none are present when I next visit those I have already photographed, and at those yet to be visited.

Unfortunately I have no suitable Canadian emblems to attach to the crosses, so have used the standard cross we have over here. I attach an image of the type of cross I used. I will ask my local Branch to obtain a suitable substitute for the marker in Carnmoney Jewish Cemetery for Flight Sergeant B.E. Samuels.
