F-L,
If you want a few pointers, I could take a sunday drive out your way and check it out for you. Do not try to move it without priming the Generator, and pumping the GCP 20 or so times in each gear (it alignes the gearbox bands). You should jack up one side of the ferret and ensure the wheels turn together (bevel box and transfer box quick checks) and do the same on the other side.
ALWAYS park it in the lowest gear! The GCP should be in the up position when in gear. It releaves strain on the gearbox springs. I also try not to engage the park brake leaver for long periods of time, to avoid brakes sticking.
