Default 37mm Barrel

Colin if you decide its for sale can I have first go at it?
As far as my limited knowledge goes, 37mm guns were the main armnament of the Stewart (or Honey) tank.
Second they were a trailed (field ) gun like your 25 pounder.
And thirdly they were the gun mounted on the 3/4 ton Dodge
4 x 4 wc55 or correctly the ""37mm gun motor carriage m6"
(see the significance to me at the bottom of my posts)
There are a variety of 37mm guns, and the ones I have spoken about are all (I believe to be M4) the others have a smaller shell, and I know nothing of them.
Hope that helps. If you post something about it in the Gun Park forum you'll pick up heaps of info, I'm guessing.
By the way I'll be in Pucka at the end of next month. How far away are you?
Cheers,
Lynn.
