Well i got the roof off and it appears Euan is right i sanded back some of the paint and there is only 4 layers the nose of the truck has 7 or 8 layers so it looks like its had the roof swapped at some time . Apart from the corner fixings are there any other differences between the ford and Chev roof`s ?.
Max if i cant find one closer i will take you up on the grill , it will give me a chance to drool over your collection and to do some sniffing around up your way .
