Hi Rob,
The fun thing with 45 HUPs is that one must make assumptions (and we all know how the root word "assume" breaks down) about how things are assembled. To my knowledge there are no 45 HUP manuals available, so I either have to go with the way the rad was set up when I got the HUP, or rely on other's expertise. The original rad came out of a commercial Dodge product, so I can't go by that set up. I have seen '43 HUPs with and without the metal spacer, with and without the rubber gaskets, some with one gasket and the spacer...and so on. I will be stopping by the CWM once they remove all the Jazz Fest crap away from the parking lot, to film the 45 HUP and get some shots of the rad support set up. If Mark Perry is looking in, perhaps you can send some shots of your 45 HUP's rad set up. Any help on 45 HUPs would be greatly appreciated!!
