Default Ford Radiator Badge

Eric

Welcome from another Ford CMP guy - in Kingston ON!

The square rad badge that you need I don't think is the same as the one that Tony illustrated. The one you want is available from a supplier in Alberta - whose name I think is George Moir. His phone number and address I've forgotten and all of my info is at the cottage. I won't be going there for a week or so but I'll post the info when I do. The badge in question was originally used, i believe, as a trunk badge for the prewar Lincoln car. It comes in red or blue enamel which, sad to say, should be painted over in khaki!
The other bad news is that it will cost you $50!

It's well worth downloading the parts catalogues from the US parts suppliers Macs, Early Ford and Dennis Carpenter - just google those names and you will get to their web sites and can download their catalogues as pdf files. Although they dont know much if anything about Ford CMP's, its amazing how many parts that you will need that they have! You can often cross reference the parts numbers from Alex's manuals.

George Moir has a lot of the same stuff but considerably dearer.

Cheers and Good Luck

Let me know if you are coming Kingston way.
