Default Wilmot

I had a copy of that book years ago . Chester Wilmot went down in one of the Comet air crashes , can't remember which one , maybe the one in Italy ? Boy , didn't the boffins get that one wrong ! Structural failure wasn't it .

I once heard a recording of him doing a " live " battle report in NW Europe during the latter stages of WW2. They used those acetate disc recording things , and it sounded quite good .
