Oh dear.
I had a similar problem with my 3 year old TDi Disco many years ago. It had about 70,000km when I bought it and 2 weeks later it just stopped. Turned out to be the timing belt had broken which fortunately was repaired under warranty. This was a known fault with the 300 TDi.
I loved driving it and almost everything about it except for reliability. It constantly had one problem or another from the security system to oilseals to water pump to the ABS.  I now drive a DiD Pajero which hopefully will be a more reliable package.
