Neil,

The tyre pumps are certainly not universal amongst the wartime British vehicles. Austin was on the offside, and Bedford on the nearside, they are not interchangeable. As the Chev and Bedford designs are very similar, it may be possible to use, but again, the gears would have to mesh, so any difference in numbers of teeth would rule that out. The mounting flange is to a S.A.E. standard and still used to this day.
