Hi David:
2 1/2 tons US rating.
The photo I used was only to show the side lights.
Such vehicles were sold in Europe, mostly in Scandinavian/Baltic countries, especially Norway and Sweden before the war and therefore your example could well have been an impressed/beute vehicle.
So I don't get yelled at by Hanno or other Low Country types, they sold also pretty well in Holland and Belgium but we are talking about a few hundred examples.
As for the US, I would suspect none that our forces purchased ever made it overseas. The M series Inters, 4X4 and 6X6, particularly for the US Marines, were found all over the Pacific but I suspect that most that went East were taken by the Russians.
Edit: Minor correction, some of these used by US Navy did end up in the ETO and the Brits also got a few.
