Dave, I hate to buy anything from China but if you price steel, a hydraulic cylinder and four casters, even without your time, the Chinese hoist is cheaper.
Chris, I agree 100%. Oshawa has one of the top 5 Wally Worlds in Canada. Guess why? All the high price CAW Union members are trying to save a buck. Go figure! When I went to buy a new cordless drill for the garage I was adamant that I wouldn't by anything Chinese. I looked at Makita because there is a repair facility in Whitby. On the side of the drill it says " Makita Corporation- Ashai Japan". Great, Japanese and not Chinese. When I got back to the garage a closer inspection revealed the dreaded Made in China. You can't win.  Barry
