I agree, you won't get more of a track fan than me? 15 years as an RCD. Ref the tracks however, the general who took our tanks away is not in favour of tracks. So unless he retires soon...not gonna happen till he's the CDS. We won't see track recce vehicles anytime soon. I was in favour of the Weasel... but nobody listens to a career corporal. It has rubber tracks, a tow missile, or just about anything you want. Plus you could put the current surveillence package inside the vehicle. and run one multi task camera up the mast via fibre optic cable. But GM dosen't make the weasel...the Germans do. But that's a whole ball of stuff altogether.
Any how.....I thought that a recce troop of weasels and modern ferrets would be awesome. Hey it's got to be better than an up armoured jeep and a pick up truck.
