I'll take the bait, Ian.
The meuseum we taked about was the Beck military museum at Mareeba in far north Queensland. The scout car was a S1 scout car built as reverse lend-lease to the americans serving in Qld at the time. These were based on CMP running gear and looked like a cross between a CT15A and an M3 white scout car. I do beleive that Hanno had a pic posted on the old forum, so I'll cast the bait in his direction and see if he bites. While the bait is flying, perhaps Bob Mosely could show us a pic of "Bandicoot" which was loosely based on these Brit cars, and built on a commercial Ford chassis
