This is the Barry Ryan C8 , it has just been sold to a QLD buyer .

Barry established his museum up near Shepparton, Victoria , in the mid 1970's , I first saw this truck in Jan . 1977 , it had previously been in a bush fire brigade . He moved up to Dubbo in the 1980's . His other vehicles are currently for sale to locals til this weekend , when its all going on to MILWEB .

This C8 is most unusual in that its fitted with a British built Duple 8 cwt body . Pretty much the same body as seen on the Morris PU etc. , wooden floor . There is a pic of one in the Gregg profile on 8 cwt's . The fuel tanks have long necks that stick out the ends of the tanks .

I have always wondered if these bodies were fitted in the U.K. , or in the M.E.
