Hearing of Max's car torching plight, Ashley and John have brought in a new, more fireproof toy, a F60L with a No. 13 cab on a No12 chassis.

Although it hasn't run for quite a while, Max says the cab is in excellent condition and tomorrow plans to "give the truck a run, then put it in the tunnel". Ah the joys of what you can find in this wonderful country. The Hedges computer has a virus so there won't be any pictures until that's fixed. Meanwhile the search goes on for the firebombing culprit who has apparently struck for a third time, this one being a fire lit under a 4X4 in a dealer's yard.

Looks to be a fairly complete cab too. The ex-Batlow fire brigade truck? Obviously spent a lot of it's life shedded.

Looking forward to seeing you in it at Corowa next year! Keith
