Question which would you prefer???

What would you all prefer??

New old stock, that has not been fitted but is sixty years old and somewhat seized up.

OR

Brand new cast reproduction.

Also what would you expect to pay for each of these?

In restoring the Aussie carrier LP2A #2340, we used three cylinders each of Acetylene and Oxygen, to free up and fix the track - all of which was supposedly NOS, but which looks now like it is close to the end of it's life. Both sides of the carrier are two links off being at minimum length ( 168 links from 176 originally ) Still doing this to the track meant that it ran like new track at Corowa '05.
