Yes; I saw Andras pics from the egyptian side of the same desert. I am always a little bit disappointed but I is a fact that the part the "Heavy Section" had used is much more untouched than the libyan part of the desert. The reason is relatively simple: The egyptian part has no inhabitants there and there is no oil as well > means less traffic / visitors.
