Came across this pic, a sad piece of Catalina hull found along a road somewhere in the US (Ephrata, Wash., actually).
Punched up N2886D in Google, found out it's serial number 64034 and that it was "lost in accident at Northport, WA Jul 29, 1985 due to improper locking of dump doors. 2 killed."
