Rooting: Why Aussie sheep fear the root. This would explain why the Aussie exchange folks here in Ottawa chuckle every time they walk past the downtown "Roots" retail store... As to other winter sports worth watching: Women's figure skating - for very obvious reasons that have nothing to do with Olympic sports ... Curling - where else can you find a flabby 300 lb, cigarette smoking, beer chugging fellow who is referred to as an athlete?
