Fading Paint
Tony,
I am sure that the paint is not faded. The color is quite vibrant, especially in areas where the sun/rain/mud does not affect it. With respect to it as a primer ... it very well could have been used as such but I do not believe it was ever painted over with khaki as there are no traces of khaki anywhere. My assumption is that they came from the factory this way ... maybe someone can verify this? Stewart
