Note the chrome grille on the '41 Chevy. Any opinion as to whether the bodies were US-sourced? They could be British utility bodies of course.

Hanno's is a Studebaker. Dodgenut's may be a Ford but it is hard to tell with so little detail. Regards Bill

I may be wrong but it could be a 1940 Model WA, chassis/cowl. I have debated long and hard over the years whether these were diverted Belgian/French deliveries. Is the registration known please?

Hi guys:
First one is a Ford, not sure just what model but am guessing a V8 of 1937-1939. Second is a Studebaker most likely 1937. Edit: Now that is odd. When I opened the last page of this thread. it stopped on the post with the Ford and the Studie and I forgot I had already answered it. Sorry. Bill

The CASF canteen looked to me at first glance as though it was a Fordson 7V, echoing Richard's comments. As regards the WVS Ford, note its cuivvy rego, and presuambly as only just converted and delivered, is on trade plates.

Apparently it's part or is now part of the NAAFI: Expeditionary Forces Institute along with the NCS, or Naval Canteen Service.
