Carrier road wheels
Years ago some vets in Hamilton restored a carrier and sent the wheels out to get new rubber. They sent them to a guy who does tow motor wheels. Back they came looking perfect. They put them on, went in on a Saturday for the big day, laid the tracks down, and a deuce pulled the carrier on. Ooops....the rubber was straight sided like tow motor wheels, not bevelled. Off they came.
