Bob, in this thread , we looked at an early Cab 11 F15A. I made reference to the cast GM axle being listed as part no C011WQF-3000 A2 . It is listed in the Ford parts book SE39-42 as only being fitted to F15As, but that axle is no longer listed in the F15A-01 parts book (SE.114) of May '43. SE 39-42 covers all the models of Cab 11, 12, and first designs of Cab 13. F15A-01 only covers F15A's of all types, but apparently by that date the GM cast axle had been superseded.
Does this vehicle have an engine number stamped on the inlet manifold mounting face or over the inspection hole on the gearbox bellhousing?
