As for other uses for our beloved vegemite it can be used to hide grey hair, to turn normal spectacles into welding goggles, and (I can personally vouch for this one) can be used on baby's rusk sticks as a pacifier... A light smear on the upper portion of your CMP windscreen assists in driving into the setting or rising sun, not to mention how cool it looks... How about as part of an effective temporary camouflage pattern? Really, there are no limits to it's usefulness.
