I'm in need of a couple as well. I was considering going in to Winnipeg and getting enough made up to do 4 carriers. The real cost is for the first one of each type, the rest are relatively cheap. I figure I could recoup some of my costs having extras made.
In the past, I've just matched up the springs with anything close from the brake shops.
Trick is, you can't tell the spring makers that they are brake springs or they won't make them. Seems like it's getting to be difficult to get shoes relined as well, I'll have to be heading in to Winnipeg in search of this service, as no one in this area does it anymore, and can't/won't even send them out for relining.
