(those who were not there may not understand the preceeding)
What is really interesting, to me, is that the MK.1* carrier won by an Ontario buyer was serial No. 14623, assigned the number CT113651, built on March 6, 1943. My carrier is a Mk.1* serial No. 14606, assigned the number CT113649 built on March 6, 1943. The auction carrier had 'desert' bins for the water cans on the rear deck. Looking afresh at mine, it too had these bins.
