Hi there
The Tamiya FAT is not just oversized. Originally produced in Japan as a motorized kit, the entire front end was dicked around with so the motor would fit. The entire model is about 5-6 mm too wide for the same reason. I'm working on a cab-12 Chevrolet 2-pounder portee using the Tamiya AND Italeri FAT kits and I've chopped and channelled the parts till there is very little left. I just plug away, repeating to myself: "Its only a hobby, its only a hobby.......... Steve
