1940 Dodge 3 ton
There isn't a lot left of the first truck, but the radiator grille trim is the distinctive 1940 pattern - quite different from 1939 and 1941-47, so I'd suggest it is a 1940 Dodge 3 ton VK series chassis.
It could have been badged as Dodge or Fargo, depending on the route it took to get where it ended up. Gordon
