Hi David, thanks for the reply.

I think that's pretty much the same conclusion I've come to. The December 1944 edition of the Vehicle Data Book gives the same info and notes info was not available at time of publication.

I did find some interesting correspondence from CMHQ to the War Office in the online LAC files, where they queried why the trailer units for the 6-KW and 6-KVA sets were not included in the WE transport table and not shown on the organisation table. Their question was whether this might lead to confusion in allocating shipping space. The revised March 1945 British WEs did include the sets as trailer mounted in both these sections of the tables, but the August 1945 Canadian rewrite didn't. And neither nation mentioned alternative equipment for the sets in the notes.
