Default Most common portee

was the cab 12 C60L type, mostly Chevrolets. The 101" wheelbase version lacked the chassis winch, of which several survive in New Zealand.

John Belfield has restored a Ford version which can be seen at the Melbourne Tank Museum.

This image of a CGT Portee was taken by Cliff Hutchings in Northland, New Zealand in 1983.
