These generic 2 gallon cans were a common sight at auto swap meets , used to see them for $5 to 10. Recent prices are just beyond the pale as the saying goes. Upwards from $100 for a half decent example.

This is a D/I\D marked Oil can I spotted on epay, it has a unusual octagonal shaped top.
