That thing is so ugly it is beautiful. I would restore it mechanically but leave it looking like that.
But I suppose the ugly/beautiful; thing can be applied to most of our CMPs. To the outside viewer, they are ungainly, but like the parents of a baby who is perhaps not going to be on the cover of "Beutiful babies", we see perfection. |

This C8A was used as a carnival parade vehicle, hence the gaudy colours. It would make a nice surf truck or similar.
A Dutch MLU member is bidding on this so I reckon it will at least get saved from the scrapper.
