In the collection of N6FEG in California.
Appears to be in unissued condition. Plug in coils for changing bands. Has one RF stage, a regen detector and two audio stages. The tubes appear to be early 1930s UY series 5 pin types. The Japanese built a copy of the famous BC-611 Handy Talkie , but it was a receiver only. I have actually handled one , but could not take it home. Update: The set pictured is a type53C receiver https://www.qsl.net/g4bxd/japanese.htm More info: https://www.radioenthusiast.co.uk/ar...e-53c-type-97/
