Interesting paper and nothing surprising there: the kippers could accept the Yanks as equals
but certainly not the mere dominions...sniff, sniff. And of course there were plenty of skeletons to keep hidden, perhaps even the reasons why the Canadian Army spent three years sitting in the UK instead of showing-up the "mother country" again in some theatre of war as she had in WWI!
