Hi Bruce and Jordan
The L peices on my HUP which is a June 1945 are welded steel. Very clearly two peices of square stock welded to make an L that slip inside the window frame. Drilled and tapped for the screws. Another example of minor manufacturing differences in CMPs. Hope that helps. Cheers Phil
