I don't know if you can call it a "standard " flathead radiator as there are many different versions. the CMP range is quite different, the bus versions of that vintage are similar , but header tanks are different, as I said the most identical one I have seen that is almost the same is from the larger rear engine chassis' that were built. Cheers Andrew.

I asked them today and it is a original Lynx radiator that was refurbished.

Default Dingo

Guys,

Thought that I would share this picture that I received from a friend. While not about Lynxes, it does show 1919 Brownings mounted on Dingoes in service with my regiment of interest, the RCDs. While I now have many pictures of Lynxes with pintle mounted Brownings, I wonder at how "official" these upgrades actually were.

Default M1919 Brownings on For Lynx

It seems that it started with a field modification by the Manitoba Dragoons and was subject to a study for usefulness by the military later on.
I do not have the AFV Report No. 7, so don’t know what the official outcome was.

Interesting set of photos.
What is the pipe brace fitted into the sand channel bracket for? With that there they would not be able to use the sand channel brackets as originally intended.
I have highlighted the piece in question as there is no sign of something like that on my Lynx.

Thanks Rick

Default We remember

Guys,

A friend of mine, Alex with Hagerty Insurance put this video together. I think it explains why we pursue our "hobby". Here is the link.
