Default pic

Early example of a AWA manufactured Valve. 1920s ? With only four pins: Would this be a directly heated Triode for a battery set ?

Default Manual

Euan will be happy: I have managed to locate a original manual for his W.S. 19 (Aust.) Dated 1943, the publication was bought by a friend VK3CYD (thanks Clem) in 1975 for $2.

Still looking for control boxes

Default NAA file

Came across this in a NAA file . Early 1942 they were deciding on the the wireless installation in LP2 carriers. Not sure if they are referring to No. 11 or 19 sets at that point in time. From memory the UK 11 set manual does describe a telephone system for internal crew use in AFVs. The 19 set has the I/C set built in as standard equipment.

Title
[Machine Gun carrier - internal communications placing of crew in vehicle]
Contents range
1942 - 1942
Series number
MP508/1
Control symbol
325/702/776
Access status
