Default F-60L Spare wheel holder

Hi Ivo,

Great job done there!

Slightly different design to my Australian F-15A wheel holder bracket. Then again, the wheel holder is also different to Canadian ones.

Mine is actually made from two pieces of 1/8" steel plate spot welded together. The spots are visible in the photo. I am hoping mine is original and not a later fabrication. If it is, at least it was well done and looks like another one I have seen.

Even rivetted to the chassis as per original- nice. Mine should be too but obviously the brackets were donors from another vehicle hence bolted on.

Cheers,

Hi. These are not rivets but tear-off nuts, then ground into a cone.

Hi Ivo,

Very effective! Could have never guessed they were not rivets.
