In Assembly Instructions F15A I found this very interesting drawing. Apparently there was a Personnel version with 6 instead of 4 seats:

Here is one of those backrests fitted to a Dutch 15-cwt truck used for driver training in Indonesia, 1947.

"[DLC] School Opleiding Bestuurders en Motorrijders (S.O.B.M.) te Bandoeng"
