Ford CMP side curtains Ford/Chevy differences?
Good Day,
Comparing my drawing of a Ford curtain frame to a Chevy one I noticed a difference in the dimensions. The Chevy one is shown as 34-1/2" overall length of the frame. On the Ford sample I measured it is only 32". This length seems consistent for a Ford as the top of the door is 34" long and a picture of one fitted on a door taken from inside the door shows the forward part about 2" back from the front of the door. This concurs with my 32" overall length. I have included the hole spacing on the frame parts. As previously mentioned I didn't have a lot of time with the frame so even though I worked as accurately as possible I cannot give 100% assurance everything is correct. If anyone has an original frame from an Australian Ford CMP and could check my dimensions it would be great "peer review". Cheers,
