Default insulators

insulators 2.jpg

My wireless box uses the insulators as shown in the pictures. There are 5 of the slightly longer ones used on the shorter top buss bar and 6 insulators used on the lower lower buss bar. They are attached using a 1.8 inch panhead slotted screw passing though the buss bar, insulator and screwing into the wood paneling. My guess they are either of hard rubber or ceramic.

Awesome Gord ! Thanks for that . That resolves a mistery . What about the copper buss bar isolators ? That one is quite heavy . I suppose the isolators are beefier ?

Default Buss Bar Insulators

The insulators on my cadaver wireless box are almost identical for the long buss bar and shorter buss bar. I believe the wiring in the wireless box has not been modified. Gord

Our friend Gord Falk took many more interesting pictures. Thanks Gord ! I see many little details that are very useful. For example the buss bar is grounded to the metal floor under the wireless table . There are so many questions answered wow !Awesome Gord !
