The Major Assemblies manual shows that it it the same rear axle assembly (and subsequent superceding numbers) used on both trucks. Very heavy duty for the 1533! This might help someone seeking to scrounge parts from a donor truck to make a 1533 replica.

I see that the model code for both 1533 and 1543 are the only trucks with the two speed specified. I wonder if the xxx3 indicates "two speed" axle?
