I don't think he needs the wipers as the bag keeps the screen dry.

Tony,

I think I have seen period pictures of the North African battles with these covers on trucks. Presumably to avoid the sun reflecting on the surface and alerting the enemy(?)


It does look good on your Cab12!

I did not even realise there was a photo of it taken!!!

That is very interesting Alex. I do agree with you, it makes sense these would have been used in Africa.

Are you able to find some of those pictures Alex?

Suspect you'd be right Jack. Reckon the old vacuum system would struggle...
