| Ronald Lee, S.O.E.

On December 6th Ronald Lee passed away in Vancouver at age 101. He was a member of Force 136, an S.O.E. force of Chinese Canadians recruited to go behind Japanese lines during WW2. He was trained as a wireless operator and I had a good talk with him about wireless operations at an event at the Seaforth Armoury in Vancouver. Ron's story and others can be found at the Chinese Canadian Military Museum: http://www.ccmms.ca/ |
