Source for Cage Nuts used on CMP

Hi Phil

I followed up on Walde suggestion with Spaenour and found all the stove bolts I can use... in fact he even has them in stainless steel.... which I intend to go for.... if I ever have to remove the nose to do some maintenance they are less likely to rust....

Price quoted for the flat head single slot and also the rounded oval head is $43.00 +- for the steel ones SS will be a bit more.

However, I had to increase my limited vocabulary...caged ntus in Canada are "retainer nuts"..... however they quoted something like $1.35 Canadian each versus the Mac store at 0.60 cents USA.

The good thing is Mac also has new repro door handles for our trucks...... at $23.00 US each I think that is a fair deal.

Once I get the prices settled down at Spaenour I will post my findings.....

You might also be interested in the tape..cloth...impregated with something... 1 1/2 wide...anti squeak... that Speanour has listed in the catalogue..... Chris Vickery was looking for that at one point...... will check that out and post the results....
