On the DOT rating. I was told that any tyres imported into this country for road going purposes, that do not carry a DOT rating, will be confiscated at the border and destroyed by customs.

Lynn, does that include agriculture tires? How accurate is this information for NZ? , from NZ customs or NZ Transport agency?
