I notice you are using straight hoses on the lower rad to water pumps. Although you are using silicone hose, which will bend reasonably easy, you might want to consider using the preformed rubber hoses from a 52 Ford. It reduces the stress on the lower rad outlets.

Check this link where we discuss the lower rad hoses: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=24900

Hello gents,

Be aware that if you have to change your water pumps to the new version with better sealing, the preformed lower hoses will be too short as the new pumps have shorter outlets. (see my post in the restoration forum).

Default latest status of our Bren May-20

In the Corona era, we stopped working on restoration. Now we are back, the engine is installed with pipes. I worked on adjusting the braking and steering rods. Attached some pictures.

Thumbs up After a few years of work, we are driving the Bren first test drive

Today the Bren is finally moving there is still a lot of work to do but for the first time we took the Bren out of the workshop for testing there are many more things to do and work on it but we can say that we are in the right direction there is tremendous progress.

We look for the problems that pop up and fix what is possible inside the Bren we plane to take out the gearbox, Engine and radiator and after painting bring back inside all parts.
And final issue is the panel wiring and lights, so a log way to go...

I believe this picture will help you out as there is a bracket that bolts to the tab off the rad and then bolts to the upper engine armor.
