I found a very very nice box (gutted) here in Canada, and bought the internals from Jack's box to complete mine. The price to ship the complete box from Auz was outrageous...not so bad for just the internals.
I still need to find the large pump for mine, but I think I have most of what goes into the box otherwise. |

Rob.
Have you got an original top tray ? if so can you post a picture of it . I have a couple of line drawings to reproduce the internals for the top tray although they are not too elaborate . Rob...……………...rnixartillery. |

Yes I do. I'll get a shot of it today when I am in the shed.

Excellent ! one thing I have learnt is that all five of my boxes have slight differences in one way or another and I assume this is based on manufacturer.
Another thing I have noticed is that there is no place in the pump box for the 'spare glass ' Box for the Pressure gauge No5 and 16. Rob...…………….rnixartillery. |

My box is Canadian, and I don't know who made the internals. While, for the most part, they do match up, the top tray is a tight fit into the main box. I squeezed it into there for now, but will do some fitting once I get to that part of the 25 pdr project.

As promised, some photos of the tray interior.
As I mentioned, my box is Cdn and the internals came from Oz. While the mounting comes pretty close, there are variations. There would seem to be a variation with the bracket that limits the lid, as I am going to have to relocate it's mounting point. Over the years, some of the wood screws that Jack kept with the dividers may have become misplaced or used up elsewhere. I have a lot I removed from Bren chests, so managed to replace some of the missing ones, but I am going to have to dig a little deeper to find some of the smaller ones. I note there is also a wooden cover to go over the face of the pressure gauge that is missing in your photos Rob. |
