Speedo cable for Universal carrier

How long is your cabel ? 10 feet and 3 inc ? and is is it running down inside the motor cabin Parallel withe the motor block, up or down ... Is the cabel ruling under the metal tubes with the electric cabel inside or up and parallel with the block and down again on the right side of the water cooler ?

I under understand that som Universal carrier had the speedo cabel running down on the hull on the right side of the hull wall.

But in my carrier it don´look like that ... but I need to find the right way ..
