yes it does have a small sliding door on the drivers side of the bed. interesting about the hood. it did come with a radiator that looks original and does not stick up higher than the hood. but who knows what might have been fitted in it's past life. the hood does fit the sheet metal behind the grill pretty well.

the hood was most definitely modified to fit a taller radiator. i believe it's the original hood just stretched and welded. it will be an easy fix to bring it back to shape.

the whole front clip should be off to pull the engine. so the radiator shrouds and possible a cross support are missing from the front. Try to get a manual online or otherwise. Very nice find.

so when covid hit back in May my blaster closed up and it stopped work on my carrier. so i turned my attention to the cmp. i had pulled the engine around the same time i was hoping to be able to do a freshen up to the engine put it back in and drive it around the yard. once i really got into it the engine needed a major rebuild. and when i looked harder at the transmission and transfer case they both needed attention. top it all off someone tried to retro fit a newer? master cylinder to it. so it made sence to strip it. i do have the radiator shrouds but no cross bar. and i have a manual for it. there's no doubt i'm missing a fair amount for parts for it. and there's absolutely nothing around here for it. so i might be taking a trip north to do some shopping.

the engine is off to the machine shop. had some water damage in two of the cylinders. and it for sure needs a valve job. it's an original 99 block. i'm missing the water pumps for it. got the bed off. and rolled the chassis into the garage. i built a temporary wall so i can heat the garage and work with out gloves. so i'm just about done removing all the drive line items. when i'm done with the front half i'll spin it around and do the back half. although there's not much to do.

Which parts do you need? The mechanicals are all US Ford based. The brake master and wheel cylinders can still be bought new.

Post a wanted list here and let's see what the group here can rustle up.

Be proud! You have a lot more than most to start with. All you need is some pictures to fabricate the radiator shrouds and missing bits from the front end, self serve on those. Some measurements of a radiator to see if you have the right one.
